The Netherlands is the best protected delta in the world. So where else would you study River Delta Development Management? Everywhere in the world, urbanisation and climate change are encroaching upon river deltas, ecologically valuable regions. The challenge is to decrease the vulnerability of river deltas while simultaneously increasing the opportunities for healthy economic and ecological development.
This programme trains students to be facilitators of change for river deltas. The world needs educated, enthusiastic, passionate people who can develop resilient, safe and sustainable delta life! The programme is a full-time (2 years) English-taught Master’s programme. The education location varies between the three universities of applied sciences. They combine their expertise; in the fields of coastal regions, river systems, and urban water. You work on real-world issues in multidisciplinary teams in Living Labs during this Master with a practical approach. After successfully completing the degree programme, you will receive a Master of Science (MSc) diploma.
